I have 14 days left of high school.
That is an equally beautiful and terrifying thought.
As I type this, with so many other thoughts buzzing around my head, I put life into perspective. When i really think about it, the most terrifying thought is that my whole school career, in terms of qualifications, can be boiled down to just over 2 weeks. 16 days.
7 National 5 exams.
8 Higher exams.
1 Advanced Higher exam.
And all of a sudden this safety net, this trampoline that I can bounce back on, is being taken away.
I always say I don't like school. and to an extent that is very true. I hate the fact we don't get enough funding and the building disrepair. I hate the oppressive nature of the place, from its closed-in classrooms to high walls. I hate the educational elitism. Not in a sense of pupils being better than each other, in the sense that the arts, the vocational qualifications, Higher level or not, are looked down upon. I do not however want to spend this post being negative. Life is too short to be negative about something you have spent 6 years over.
I love learning. I think good teachers deserve the world. I love the opportunities, experiences, changes and friends I've encountered throughout my time at school, and inspired by Anne I'd like to share a few of the best from the past 6 years with you now.

I want to remember these past 6 years fondly, despite the ups and downs. Everyone who has been part of my life has shaped me in some way, and I want to thank them for that.
We might be going off the deep end, but I won't let us float apart.
